FLETCHER ESHBAUGH

Fletcher began his design career in 1995, after being accepted into one of the top Product Design programs in the country- the University of Cincinnati's D.A.A.P. program, ranking number two in the nation for product design.

Through the Cooperative Learning Program at the University of Cincinnati, (the oldest such program in the nation, established in 1909) he was able to walk away with over a year and a half of professional experience by the time he graduated in 2000. He was fortunate enough to have had internships at storied design consultancies Design Central in Columbus, Ohio, and ECCO Design in New York, New York, along with the first Cooperative Learning internship awarded to a University of Cincinnati student at New Balance in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

Fletcher began his professional career in New York City soon after graduation, and was able to secure contract work at several high end fashion companies and design consultancies, which developed into a solid client base. This also afforded him even more real world experience designing and learning all aspects of the business from experts in fields of product, branding, and fashion design.

After a brief stint living and designing in London in 2007, he headed back to New York to resume the flourishing career he left stateside. Soon thereafter Fletcher decided to focus on establishing a proper consultancy, eventually creating his own design entity, "1TH" in 2008.

Nearly every place he has been a design consultant or full time designer he has been able to elevate the design aesthetic and thus the perception of the brand. All of this has translated into an increase in sales and future success for each brand he has worked with. Fletcher was instrumental in developing brands from the ground up such as Faryl Robin, and The Money Team, as well as provide design direction and stability to smaller brands such as White Tulip and Ashette in order for them to thrive and develop their position in the marketplace. He was also pivotal in designing and developing the Men's program at Coach from a $200M business in 2009 when he was brought onboard, to over $750M in sales by the time he left Coach in 2015.

Along the way he has worked with numerous startup companies helping build them from the ground up, as well as plenty of experience within design consultancies--and even a couple of full-time stints at large global corporations. He is part fashion, part product, and part graphic designer offering unique solutions with results based design.
